This was a gift from a musician-coworker who knows that I delight in music and sound. Unfortunately, even if the music here is good (and that’s debatable), the non-titling of the album and its tracks is excessive hyperbole with an overindulgent budget provided. The word “inexcusable” hammers so insistently into my mind as I consider that pretension…it’s an extreme example of style overriding substance, and I can’t recommend it. Again, the content may or may not be good. That format issues can eclipse that question is significant as well as lamentable.
